Being your own Boss is wonderful however, it can come with a price. Depending on your skill or trade or maybe you run a business online you will always have a slow period during the year. Be Ready! that is my best advice especially for someone with a small business, if possible schedule customers during the slowest time of the year and provide them with a discount for waiting. This will allow your business to stay busy during slow periods. I have a friend that I enjoy discussing business ideas with and believe it or not this is one idea that I had not thought of. If your tracking your income every month as you should be for taxes you should be able to identify your slowest periods of the year.
If your not tracking your income its time that you start. Being organized and understanding where you money is going is critical to your business survival no matter what you do. YouTube Business Financial Tracking or something along those words and I guarantee you will find some financial consultant providing a step by step video on how to do this. I've done it myself! Excel can look scary but after you watch a few videos it gets easier.
